Known for his intimate tenor, signature guitar style and moody melodies, Los Angeles-based solo artist and storyteller Shane Alexander has shaped a distinctive career with his evocative indie folk and soaring California-tinged acoustic rock.

Having extensively toured the US, Europe and Canada since 2005 (both as a headliner and supporting acts like Bon Iver, Lucinda Williams, Seal, Jewel, John Hiatt, Suzanne Vega, Styx and Yes), Alexander has developed a loyal international fanbase and performed on many fabled stages, including: Red Rocks, The Ryman Auditorium, and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. His music has appeared in dozens of television shows, commercials, and films- quietly earning more than 30 million streams. The song “Everything as One” from Alexander’s 2019 album A Life Like Ours was recently featured in a national commercial for Chevrolet’s ‘Drive Safe’ campaign.

In addition to working on his own releases, Shane can usually be found co-writing songs (both remotely and in-person) and producing acts from both sides of the pond at Buddhaland, his studio in Westlake Village, California.  Forever Songs, Shane Alexander’s 8th solo album, will be released this spring.
