“Seamlessly melds delta blues, gospel, and jazz themes with personal, simplified lyrics that speak to his personal and artistic evolution.”
– New York Times.

Originally from Cadillac, Michigan, Luke Winslow-King is a career rock & roll guitarist, singer, producer, songwriter. Having spent more than 15 years in New Orleans, and recording his 2008 album (Old/New Baby) at Preservation Hall, he was named ‘Best Blues Artist’ by Gambit Magazine. His 2018 hit, ‘I’m Glad Trouble Don’t Last Always’ is nearing 10 million streams on Spotify. He was named a voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy in 2022. Now living in Calatayud, Spain, he continues to pursue his global quest; delivering honest, powerful, rustic, and authentic peoples music by stage and recording alike.

The Luke Winslow-King Band features Tuscan slide guitar maestro Roberto Luti. With his unorthodox, angular, and evocative slide guitar style, Luti made a name for himself during his nearly decade-long residency in New Orleans. He became an integral part of international recording project Playing For Change; laying the original tracks for songs which have accumulated over 100 million plays on YouTube collaborating with: Taj Mahal, Keb Mo, Buddy Guy, Keith Richards, Ringo Starr, Manu Chao, Toots and the Maytalls, and Dr. John.

The Luke Winslow King Band (featuring Roberto Luti) have been touring for 15 years, and have performed extensively in North America and Europe, appearing on notable stages such as Austin City Limits, New Orleans JazzFest, Azkena Rock Festival (Spain), Tønder Festival (Denmark), BBK Legends (Spain), Paradiso (Netherlands), Glastonbury (UK), and Byron Bay Blues Fest (AUS). They have offered direct support for Jack White, Taj Mahal, Roseanne Cash, Tower of Power, Rebirth, and Greensky Bluegrass.

Winslow-King’s eighth full-length album Flash-A-Magic is slated for release in May of 2024. It features: Rev. Charles Hodges (Al Green), Fat Possum recording artists The Sensational Barnes Brothers, and was mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer Collin DuPuis.

Luke’s prior album, If These Walls Could Talk (2022) was called “Americana pop gold” by Glide Magazine, and received 4.6 million streams in its first year.
